After for so long I finally had the "feel" to blog again while listening to the bay by metronomy.Our favourite korean bbq restaurant that we visited quite often partly due to the good looking waiter.

Tons of such shops in the subway station that I think ar pretty cool.. I bought a pair of oxfords for a mere fifteen bucks.

I remember that this stall was located at dongdaemun and the aunty knew how to speak chinese. These were my favourite night time snack. It didn't cost us much anyway, about 1-2 bucks per stick?

This was taken at some famous korea palace museum.

Korea' 2011

Took Cathay Pacific to Korea and transit through Hongkong. I love cathay airlines! They gave free blankets and the meal on the plane was not that bad actually. Worth every penny despite the flight is quite pricy though $_$. I mean comeon i dont mind paying for the service! Really hate bad customer service esp at a restaurant or when i'm purchasing something just because of your age.

HONGKONG'S SHAKER FRIES IS DA BOMB! XOXOXXOXO IT!!!

Had a long train ride to hongik university (its a place not university just like Bishan, Novena etc ) Know what I really love about Korea? Its that you can eat on the train!!!! Unlike Singapore, you would get a fine for consuming food in the train(totally lol). My check in time was 2pm and we landed at 5am. By 8-9am we reached hongdae (which is known as hongik uni) and we placed our luggage at the guesthouse and left for breakfast! At like 9am? And most of the shops were already opened! I was so excited when I touched down at Korea!! I was greeted with an amazing morning scent and the Koreans! They were so polite and friendly.

Was roaming around the streets ,exploring. I love Korea's cafe concept!

This street was so lively at night! Theres break dancing all, band playing etc! Love hongdae so much.

Went to a cafe and sat down since its was only 10am. The bread is really delicious (thats because I love caramel) and planned our schedule for the week.

So cute!!

Went to Ewhwa (if I did not spell it correctly, dont mind me) for shopping and that was the first thing that we wanted to do!!! How could we ever missed out shopping right.

How can anyone resist shopping seriously. Shopping was the best at places near the university because most of the stuffs there are cheap! Anyway 1000 won is equivalent to SGD$1, which means 10000 won = SGD $10. CMON ITS CHEAPER THAN BUGIS STREET. I didn't really buy it even though its cheap (lol right) because i doubt i'd wear it out even though I were to purchase them. It would end up being stagnant at my house.

This was just the first day in Korea! There are more to come up next! Shall end here with a Levi's advertisement which I came across in the train station.

In life, we always want to find the right person for companionship. What strikes me is, why can't we be alone? Whats wrong with just being alone? I enjoy being in solitude. Perhaps personality does differ sometimes. But to me, I think being "alone" is a form of luxury.

I've received several emails regarding the choco fudge cake which Rainier baked it for my 16th birthday and he decided to share it with you guys so yup here it goes..

FOR THE MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE

• 175g Self raising flour
• 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
• 1 Tsp Bicarbonate soda
• 150g Caster sugar
• 2 Eggs Beaten
• 150 ml Unsalted Butter
• 150 ml skimmed milk
• 5 Tbsp Golden syrup

1. Pre-heat the oven to 180ºC/350F
2. Grease and line one 18cm(7inch) square cake tin with butter
3. Sieve the flour, cocoa and Bicarbonate of Soda into a bowl. Add the sugar and mix well.
4. Make a well in the centre and add the syrup, eggs, oil and milk. Beat well with a whisk until smooth ( add more milk if mixture is too dry )
5. Pour mixture into the sandwich tin and bake for 25 - 30 minutes until rise and firm to touch.
( use a skewer to poke into the cake, if no mixture sticks on the skewer, cake is ready )
6. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool

FOR THE FUDGE COATING AND FILLING

( to save time, you can create the fudge coating while the cake is baking)

• 190g Hersheys semi-sweet dark chocolate chips (melted)
• 75g Icing sugar
• 25 g Cocoa powder
• 15 g of butter (melted)
• 30~50 ml of skimmed milk/ low fat milk

1. Melt the chocolate chips and the butter ( technique: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSqcHSewi1Y )
2. Beat in 30g of milk followed by the cocoa powder and the sugar
3. Slowly add in more milk to attain the right spreading consistency

PUTTING THE CAKE TOGETHER

1. Slice off the hard over baked edges of the cake nicely
2. Cut the cake horizontally into half
3. Spread the Fudge filing onto the top layer of the bottom half of the cake
4. Place the other half on top of the cake
5. Coat the entire cake including the sides with the fudge filling

Attended some private event at MBS previously.
This was just part of my birthday. I can't get over the fact that i've lost my memory card and i've been dwelling on it ever since the night after my birthday. I captured those marvelous moments of this year and its gone, however Rainier's choco fudge cake which he baked for me would always be pictured in my mind and it taste so good! Jolene&co.'s surprises which I know about their plan in the end (lol), the big lollipop which is the larger size of my face, i'll find a way to eat it up or either share it with you guys, those hilarious moments which I couldn't stop laughing at the restaurant all the birthday wishes and the fake "picnic" which made me lugged 2litres of orange juice, the dinner with my family at Paradise Dynasty and the presents that i've received, a mammoth thank you to you guys for making my day to be so happening. I couldn't merely use words to represent my gratitude to you guys, but i'll always appreciate for all of your doings and efforts to make this day to be indelible. Esp the Rainier's effort for turning up despite the fact that I thought he didn't bother to and went home to sleep instead but he is such a liar and i'm so gullible enough to fall for his trickery! Love y'all!!

This place have been rather lofty, I've been barely had the time to lay my hands on my laptop. I just thought I needed to convey my little thoughts about here and there. My brain just happened to be rather contemplative at such unearthly hour in the morning. What's the most interesting of all is that, how my mind would silhouette mold of memories. Little bit of grimes, dust and tiny sparks of everything. I've sealed up my social life with a wealth of knowledge and conglomeration of worksheets. Pretty lifeless; but I enjoy the companion of words, letters with songs repeating on the playlist. Oh, I just love the band phoenix so much. It is just too much of a significant.

I’ve been keeping these moments naked and between my lungs, trying to keep them from fading the way you did, from becoming stars that burn out when my eyelashes touch.

Merry X'mas People!

I bet nobody read this dead space anymore so whats the point am I right? Although its not the end of the year but to sum it up, I'd say, 2010 have been a rather fruitful year for me. In a way, people changed and so did I. Yes sounds cliche but it happens to every teenager don't you think so? To be honest, I'm rather contented with everything except my studies. And for now, I just want to keep a distance and surround myself with serenity and a comfort zone of mine. Such a jinx to fall sick on the day after Christmas. Rest well people! Its getting rather chilly tonight ...

I hate when I'm alone because then I start thinking about everything. I think about all the problems I am too weak to face and all the things that happened in my past, good or bad. I look back at memories and wish they were happening now. I create those 'what ifs' in my head and then I get myself all worried over things that probably won't happen. Most of the time I am so upset because I make myself that way. I hate it.
